Discreteness and Rationality of F -jumping Numbers on Singular Varieties

چکیده
We prove that the F -jumping numbers of the test ideal τ(X ; ∆, a) are discrete and rational under the assumptions that X is a normal and F -finite variety over a field of positive characteristic p, KX + ∆ is Q-Cartier of index not divisible p, and either X is essentially of finite type over a field or the sheaf of ideals a is locally principal. This is the largest generality for which discreteness and rationality are known for the jumping numbers of multiplier ideals in characteristic zero.

On the Discreteness and Rationality of F -jumping Coefficients
We prove that the F -jumping coefficients of a principal ideal of an excellent regular local ring of characteristic p > 0 are all rational and form a discrete subset of R.

Using an argument based on an idea of Monsky, we prove the rationality of the F-pure thresholds of curve singularities on a smooth surface defined over a finite field. More generally, we prove in this setting the rationality and discreteness of F-jumping exponents, the smallest positive one of which is the F-pure threshold. We also give a lower bound for F-pure thresholds in the homogeneous case.

The F -thresholds are characteristic p analogs of the jumping coefficients for multiplier ideals in characteristic zero. We give an alternative description of the F -thresholds of an ideal in a regular and F -finite ring R, which enables us to settle two open questions posed in [MTW]. Namely, we show that if the ring is, in addition, essentially of finite type over a field, then the F -threshol...

The F–thresholds are characteristic p analogs of the jumping coefficients for multiplier ideals in characteristic zero. In this article we give an alternative description of the F–thresholds of an ideal in a regular and F–finite ring R. This enables us to settle two open questions posed in [MTW], namely we show that the F–thresholds are rational and discrete.
متن کاملOn the Discreteness and Rationality of Jumping Coefficients
In [HY] Hara and Yoshida defined the notion of generalized test ideals τ(a) ⊆ R for ideals a of regular local rings R and non-negative parameters c ∈ R. Since then several papers studied the dependence of these ideals on the real parameter c. Notably, in [BMS1] the authors studied the jumping coefficients originating of these generalized test ideals: these are the non-negative c ∈ R for which τ...
